Shepard would like to register a formal objection to the implication that she is being compared to a cop. When cops break the rules, it's bad because cops are meant to represent the physical embodiment of a government having rules. When Shepard does it, it's because her job is to represent the physical embodiment of a government doing whatever the hell it has to in order to achieve a goal. Also a lot of uncool cops have been very unkind to her over the years and she doesn't appreciate being lumped in with those jerks.
