Annie Westwind is an Original Character
Annie Westwind
AGE: 27
HEIGHT: 5'3
WEIGHT/BUILD: 140lbs, she is petite but muscular which Eriko Nakao herself is not so none of the pictures of her really suggest 8')
GENDER: Female, was raised in an environment where gender mattered a lot and the importance of being female was pushed at her quite a lot.
RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Walking disaster, remorseless bag of ho
HAIR: Her hair is dyed very platinum blonde, but she also hasn't been able to upkeep that dye job in a while so her dark roots are showing by now and she hates it.
EYES: Brown
ORIGIN: Earth, the Academy which was plopped down in the Minnesota countryside by an alien....
LANGUAGE: Native English speaker, knows a shit ton of others.
First Tier: French, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Russian.
Second Tier: Mandarin, Afrikaans, Hindustani, Arabic, Korean.
Third Tier: Can guess her way through simple conversations in other languages.
VISION
Normally Annie dresses like trash. Very punk with a mix of crazy japanese street styles. So pretty much the more it looks like she literally pulled her clothes out of a garbage can, the happier she is with it. So the Hyrypia burka is probably an improvement for her.... And obviously she hates it. She's also generally pretty exposed because she's shameless, before she started wearing the wrap to keep her goo under control it was just unfettered titties all the time. So in short this mission outfit is torture. Literal torture don't you understand?
Anyway, she's very slouchy and loose limbed, gestures and moves around a lot. Can contort herself into all kinds of ridiculous positions, so you can find her sitting in weird ways when she's drawing or things like that. She's just not restrained in her physical environment, very haphazard and confident in that realm.
SOUND
I'm reminded of Annie's voice by Banks's singing voice (which is a bit raspier than her speaking voice), but with the speech patterns of Azealia..... Azealia Banks Bitchiest Moments.
Annie's speech is... very loose. She just sort of slots together things that go together rhythmically and doesn't always entirely care about the content of what she says. She's not exactly 100% human or sane, so this is how she's coped with the need to fake full functionality. If you think she's an annoying loudmouth now, you should have seen her when she was still a druggie.
SCENT
Nothing interesting to report here, honestly. She keeps particularly clean because she's always wiping up her goo.
MIND
Annie's mind is a bit of a known at this point. Much like her relationship with physical space, she's pretty haphazard with psychic space as well. She doesn't really try to control herself. Annie is both the human you see, as well as the life force/sentience of another world, and this makes her relationship with psychic space pretty different. She's always had an expansive mental plane to interact with, and a telepathic connection to it. She's had that relationship her entire life and she's not particularly interested in changing her way of interacting with it just for you guys...
This has thus far made contact with her mind turn immediately into a monster movie. On the psychic plane, she feels like a monster. You'll be looking at this tiny buff baby in the real world, but you're being observed by a not-quite-god with too many eyes and too many slimy limbs in the psychic world.
It is finally improving, but mostly because Noctis and Nyx have figured out how to do her shielding for her. For Annie, they are kind of like denizens of her now, part of her ecosystem and so she finds she's able to allow them to have an effect on her overall state. She lets them spread mist and smoke to obscure the details of what she is, which can make her a bit more palatable... when necessary. They developed this in order to help keep the robot ponies calm enough for her to ride them.
The last little note about Annie is that her memory is based a lot around people's faces, so I made a little quick face dictionary for ones that come up a lot.
MISC.
Cannot survive without coffee and cigarettes. Recovering addict, so every world they go to she's very wary about alien substances possibly causing her to get high and demands other people play guinea pig for her first. She doesn't drink and she doesn't use and she can get quite upset when other people are bleeding their inebriation into the group at large.
Does the art, is always sketching shit out of other people's memories. You should hit me up if you want her to draw something from your character's world/history/etc.
