Bellamy Blake AGE: 23 HEIGHT/STATURE: 5'10" or therabouts WEIGHT/BUILD: Heavy. He's fairly lean but very muscular. He'd be a pain to drag around. GENDER: Male RELATIONSHIP STATUS: #complicated HAIR: Black EYES: Brown ORIGIN: Earth, several generations after nuclear fallout destroyed the planet. LANGUAGE: English with a smattering of Trigedasleng.
VISION When left to his own devices, Bellamy typically throws his guardjacket over a t-shirt and dark-colored pants. Basically, he hasn't strayed very far his typical canon outfit. He doesn't like anything ornate or elaborately patterned. Anything fancy he's had to buy for either the gala on Concordia or the club at Waypoint as black and sleek and abandoned pretty much the minute after he was finished with it. On the Station he's typically carrying a book either in his back pocket or under his am.
Bellamy's posture is decent. It's clear he had some military training at one point in his life. He crosses his arms a lot, doesn't talk with his hands. His face is painfully expressive. He has a scattering of freckles over his nose and cheeks, and a scar on his upper lip.
Lexa picked out his robes for this mission. He's wearing a very rich navy blue ensemble which he resents. Sometimes has ooze baby clinging onto his bicep. He hasn't made any particular alterations to his outfit yet, and likely won't do so.
SOUND His voice is fairly deep, kind of rough, often borders on gruff. No verbal tics, but he is well spoken and articulate. Bellamy has a fairly extensive vocabulary but when he's trying to convince people/speechifying he uses plainer language to get his point across. He isn't prone to cursing, doesn't use "go float yourself" or other slang; his "fuck yous" are more clearly communicated through his facial expressions rather than explicitly voiced.
SCENT No cologne. Plain soap only, which feels like a real luxury to him. He bought some shampoo-conditioner on Concordia that smells like sandalwood. He isn't interested in anything elaborate or overpowering. He's used to much more limited conditions re: bathing, so he takes advantage of any bathing facilities made available to them.
MIND Touching Bellamy's mind is a little bit like making contact with a live wire. He just feels so much and he feels it all very deeply and very strongly. His emotions are overwhelming to process. They swamp his walls more often than not. They bleed through whenever he's speaking through a mental link. There should be no illusions about how he feels regarding the topic at hand. His mental walls are vaguely similar to the stark metal interior of the Ark, but they're malleable; these walls aren't as secure as they could be.
All that's outlined in his permissions post is still valid:
Gray metal walls. Lush green foliage. The weight of a machine gun. Constellations and starscapes. Vividly colored sunsets. The alternating sensations of rainfall or sunlight on skin. Guilt, guilt, guilt, guilt. Fingers pressing on a bruise. Aurora Blake's face. Undercurrents of anger, betrayal, self-doubt. Shame. The smell of books, both old and new. Snippets of things he's read: lots of mythology, lots of poetry, lots of alien history he doesn't understand, lots of trash dime-store type fiction from Waypoint. Lingering exhaustion. Sorrow. Homesickness.
On this particular mission, memories of his time in Mount Weather are close at hand. Bellamy is very aware that they're infiltrating and that they'll die if they fail. He thinks a lot about killingLovejoy in Mount Weather and taking his uniform. He's just thinking about Mount Weather a lot, full stop, because a lot of the circumstances are similar enough to keep it present in the background of his thoughts. He's also thinking about Octavia more than usual, which is a feat because he almost always has Octavia kicking around in the back of his head. He is always aware of where Clarke, Murphy and Lexa are. He is full of skepticism and worry about this mission, and wants it over with as fast as possible.
Also the Elin are the worst, pass that on.
MISC. His sleep pattern is terrible, worse during this mission because of all the Mount Weather call backs, but just generally a lot of bad dreams and a lot of being awake at odd hours during the night. Trains a lot, reads a lot; his hobbies are fairly limited in that regard. He still takes longer than necessary in the shower because the novelty of running water hasn't worn off. Tries to keep tabs on ooze baby, who he and Noctis have given a terrible name, with limited success. He doesn't hoard food but he does eat big portions; Murphy sometimes cooks and Bellamy eats whatever he spoons up. On this mission he's been playing bodyguard to Lexa and Murphy and Lakshmi in turns, being skeptical of everything happening, and having a slow motion breakdown about Clarke.
