Poe stands immediately when she and the others enter, no longer touching Finn and instead taking a few steps forward.

It's an impressive sight, that's for sure. The only royalty he knew preferred to dress in soldier's fatigues - and answer to General. Impressive, however, doesn't equal intimidating - especially not when you're Poe. So when she makes her immediate demands, Poe just smiles ruefully, and spreads his hands.
