[Lexa works tirelessly, in part because her speed will help her here. With it in hand, she moves swiftly, planting what she can and dropping what things she can along the way to set up things for the other members of their group. Given the fact that they are ripe for what may be about to happen here, she knows that they can't waste any time. That no one is there to stop them speaks volumes. Whatever will come of this planet, it's going to come swiftly. They can't risk wasting time.

But when the words cut through her consciousness, slowing her to a halt, she has to recognize that the pain in her joints is not just there because she's been working hard. If she pushes herself harder, her body will wear down. They will not be able to remove her from this planet. She will be a forgotten entity, and her people—if she still has a people to return to—will be lost without their Commander, potentially unable to recover from the distance.

Lexa flexes her fingers carefully as she comes to lean up against a wall, eyes closing. She hopes that, if anyone else comes along, that she doesn't appear to be in pain. No, she's communicating. That much had better be clear.]

We're still working. Efficiently, at that. Are you in need of something?

[She sounds impatient. She can't curb that in her voice, but it's not Kel who draws out that emotion from her, but Lexa herself. Having to stop is one risk among many, but she will not succeed without letting her fatigued limbs rest.]
