Perhaps you should share those thoughts with your brood. We would find it much easier to manage their expectations if they felt the same.

[There's no malice in it; this, as much as anything else she's said in his company today, is mostly something like wry good humor. Do hiveminds have a sense of comic timing? Maybe so. She cannot deny it would be simpler if every host who came to the Station was as willing of mind as they were of body, but perhaps that would simplify the Nest too much; perhaps the diversity of uncertainty was necessary.
